ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL WMC FOR SMOKE CITY MUSIC!

WMC WAC A BLAST! Smoke City Music went down to Miami this year and made an impact in a big way! Label bosses the Hoodfellas and their vocalist Born I had a busy Miami schedule with 6 gigs this year and they were all excellent! After arriving on Tuesday and having a blast at the Large Party & Sneak's "I Got Loops", things kicked of for the Smoke City crew on Wednesday afternoon with their first annual "Change of Pace" rooftop pool party at the Bentley Hotel which they held in conjunction with Basic NYC and their good friends at Soul Fuel Recordings! The roof was jam packed with swim wear clad dancers enjoying the ocean views, beautiful weather, and top notch house music! Born I hosted the day with occasional vocal performances that took the party to the next level. Headliners Jay-J and Pezzner both played amazing peak time sets that really suited the beautiful rooftop vibes. The Hoodfellas, Jc Discko, and Jonn Hawley played an amazing extended afternoon set that really got things jumping, and Large Music's Jeff Craven threw down an amazing tag team set with the infamous Lego that kept things moving along nicely! Tommy Largo opened the day up by debuting his new downtempo album that is gonna make major wavs when its released! Here is some video of the afternoon:

Wednesday night The Hoodfellas headed over to Lust 4 Guesthouse to open things up. Chunky beats were on the menu as The Hoodfellas set the stage nicely for later sets by DJ Sneak, Mes, Chris Simmonds, Gramaphonedzie, Tommy Largo, and Sony Fodera.
After a much needed day off on Thursday, The Hoodfellas headed over to play and afternoon set at Yerba Buena Discos "Bodyrock" event at Hotel Shelly the over to D'vine Lounge where Smoke City Music put on another successful Ask Somebody! party which was highlighted by amazing sets from Phil Weeks, Scrubfish and Nate Laurence, and and 4hour tag team set by the Hoodfellas and JC Disko (laced with vocals by Born I) aka The Inner Circle. Saturday night Hoodfellas and Jc Disco played at "Stop Through" at the Chesterfield along side Blacksoul, Scrubfish and Nate Laurence, and Angel Eyes. The party ended up getting PACKED at 4am and the Hoodfellas and JC played an amazing set until the sun rose at around 7 am! Video of that party is here:

The week wrapped up with the annual Sunday Hangover party at D'vine lounge. The Hoodfellas' AB Logic played a tremendous set alongside
